Stand: Oktober 2026

This privacy policy applies to the United Automation Hub inquiry funnel.

1. Controller

Sojka Solutions Sondermaschinen & Anlagenbau GmbH (United Automation Hub), Lödlaer Chaussee 8, 04617 Lödla, Germany. Represented by its Managing Director Christian Sojka. Phone +49 (0) 3764 57 02 43 0, email [email protected].

If your inquiry concerns services in the U.S., Sojka Automation US Inc., 3012 Kustom Dr, Hebron, KY 41048, United States, is also responsible.

Please send questions about data protection to [email protected].

2. Providing the funnel (Perspective)

We operate this funnel with the Perspective software of Perspective Software GmbH, Müggelstraße 22, 10247 Berlin, Germany (postal address: Postfach 659770, 96035 Bamberg). Perspective processes the data solely on our behalf and on our instructions (data processing under Art. 28 GDPR).

When the funnel is accessed, Perspective processes technically necessary data: browser type and version, operating system, IP address, date and time of access and the referring page. This is necessary to deliver the funnel, keep it secure and detect errors. Perspective also records which steps of the funnel are viewed (funnel statistics) so that we can improve the process. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure and functioning inquiry channel (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). IP addresses in log files are deleted after no more than seven days, session data when the session ends.

According to Perspective, the data is stored exclusively on servers in the European Union; however, Perspective also uses subprocessors based in the U.S., so access from the U.S. cannot be ruled out. Such transfers are based on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Art. 45 GDPR) or EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR).

3. Your inquiry via this funnel

What data we process: your answers to the questions in the funnel (company type, biggest gap, current solution, target markets or plant locations, company size or number of production lines, estimated downtime costs where given), the gap check result with the recommended UAH building blocks derived from it, company, first name, last name, optionally your job title, business email address, phone number and, optionally, a message; the selected language and, where applicable, campaign parameters from the link you used to reach us.

Purpose and legal basis: We process your information to handle your inquiry, prepare your gap analysis and contact you by email or phone to schedule it. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract) and our legitimate interest in handling business inquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We only send you marketing emails with your separate consent. There is no automated decision-making within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR; the gap check result is a non-binding orientation.

Recipients: Your inquiry is stored in Perspective. Only the people at United Automation Hub who handle your inquiry (sales, project management, management) have access. If your inquiry concerns services in the U.S., we transfer it to Sojka Automation US Inc.; this transfer is necessary to carry out the pre-contractual steps you requested (Art. 49(1)(b) GDPR).

Retention: We delete your data as soon as it is no longer needed to handle your inquiry, at the latest 12 months after the last contact if no business relationship results. If a contract is concluded, the statutory retention periods apply.

4. Cookies, consent banner and typeface

When you open the funnel, it shows a consent banner. Technically necessary storage on your device takes place without consent (Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG). Only if you agree is the Inter typeface loaded from Google Fonts, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Your IP address is transmitted to Google in the process; a transfer to Google LLC in the U.S., which is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, is possible. The legal basis is your consent (Section 25(1) TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Without consent, a system font is used. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer.

The funnel's language follows your browser's language setting; a manual language choice may be stored locally in your browser.

5. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR). You can withdraw consents at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR). Just contact [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority; our competent authority is the Thuringian State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (TLfDI), Häßlerstraße 8, 99096 Erfurt, Germany.

6. Obligation to provide data

We need your company, name, email address and phone number to handle your inquiry and schedule an appointment. Job title and message are optional.

7. Notice to U.S. residents

Categories of personal information we collect: identifiers (name, business email address, phone number), professional information (company, job title), commercial information about your needs (challenges, target markets, company size) and technical usage data (see section 2).

Purposes: responding to your inquiry, scheduling and preparing your gap analysis, providing the information about our services you requested and improving our processes.

Service providers: We use Perspective (section 2) to operate this funnel; it processes your information only on our behalf.

Sale and sharing: We do not sell your personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not knowingly collect information from individuals under 16.

Retention: as described in section 3.

Your rights: Depending on your state of residence (e.g. California), you may have the right to know, access, correct or delete your personal information and to opt out of its sale or sharing, without discrimination for exercising these rights. To make a request, email [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
